Festival Fun Come to Westwego

A good time will be had in Westwego on November 11-13 at the Westwego Cypress Swamp Festival. The annual event will be held Westwego Farmers and Fisheries Market at 484 Sala Avenue.

The event will have booths selling arts and crafts, food, and beer and soft drinks. Food offerings include Louisiana favorites gumbo and jambalaya, but also hot dogs, hamburgers, and even burritos and chicken wings, as well as a smorgasbord of other great-tasting items. Entertainment includes an impressive line-up of great local bands.
