After taking the oath of office from Louisiana Supreme Court Chief Justice Catherine “Kitty” Kimball, the members chose District 8 State Senator John Alario (R-Westwego) as the new Senate President.
The complex is part of part of a Federal City master-planned community designed to retain 1,600 existing jobs and create 400 new jobs in the short term, as well as attract thousands more in the future.
