“The Dream Home Program provides much needed resources to a world class research center and hospital that directly impacts the many families from the New Orleans area whom are treated at St. Jude, all at no cost to their families,” said Jim Barkate, a local businessman and member of the National Board of Directors and Governors of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), an organization devoted to providing support services for abused children in our community, is preparing for its annual Light of Hope ceremony, to be held on Tuesday, April 17, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the Jefferson Parish Juvenile Court Annex Building at 671 Whitney Avenue in Gretna.
