The Bright Light Social Hour, Kristin Diable and Aaron Benjamin to Headline 2nd Annual LiveWell Fest

The Jefferson Chamber has announced the lineup for its 2nd Annual LiveWell Fest, a free health & wellness festival on Sunday, October 21 in Lafreniere Park

Headlining the Fest is The Bright Light Social Hour, an American psychedelic rock band from Austin, Texas. Local artists Kristin Diable and Aaron Benjamin will also be performing, with an emphasis on rock-n-roll. The three acts will perform on the stage of the Al Copeland Concert Meadow in Lafreniere Park.

LiveWell Fest is held from 10 AM to 4 PM following the Jefferson Chamber’s Tour de Jefferson bike ride. In addition to live music, guests are invited to stop by for food & drink, healthy products, massages, workout classes and more! The Fest is free and open to the public. Prior to the LiveWell Fest, a Fun Run & Walk will be held along the 2-mile scenic trail of Lafreniere Park. The Fun Run & Walk is free, and all ages are welcome. Participants are encouraged to sign up in advance on tourdejefferson.org.

The goal of this family-friendly biking adventure and festival is to continually enhance the awareness of quality-of-life amenities, recreational venues, and the Bicycle Master Plan in Jefferson Parish.

Proceeds from the event support the business organization’s efforts in public policy advocacy and quality of life initiatives. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the American Heart Association.
