Things To Do

Gretna Bingo Palace’s 25th Anniversary

In July 1993, Gretna Bingo Palace opened at 1900 Franklin Avenue in Gretna. Envisioning a new type of bingo hall, we created a clean, modern, comfortable facility where players could have fun, while charitable, civic, and non-profit organizations could generate funds for their projects.

Over the last 25 years, Gretna Bingo Palace has had great success offering the largest bingo jackpot in the area, featuring a payout of $4500 every session and progressive payouts as high as $50,000. We also hold super games once a month, giving away as much as $25,000 while drawing players from throughout the metro area. The video bingo room, where players can win $1000, has proved to be another extremely popular feature and we’ve recently added Linked Bingo, which links up halls throughout the state to give away up to $10,000.

Additionally, King’s Jr. snack bar offers a wide variety of food and drink, with lunch specials for our noon games. Players have many chances to win at one of our 25 games a week. Our new bingo computer offers the best technology in the industry, and the player loyalty program allows our customers to earn free machines.

Gretna Bingo Palace has been great for the community. Our non-profit game sponsors have been able to raise over 1 million dollars per year for their charitable organizations, including Rotary Club of the West Bank, Westbank Optimist Club, Westbank ARC, David Crockett Fire Department, Gretna Police Benevolent Association, Gretna Historical Society, Italian American Cultural Association, German American Cultural Center, Knights of Columbus, Gretna Economic Development, and Carnival organizations Alla and Cleopatra.

We offer games seven days per week at 3PM, 8PM, and 10:30PM, with additional games at 12:10PM Wednesday through Saturday.  On July 1, 2018 at 3:00 PM, Gretna Bingo Palace is holding a very special anniversary Super Game for our customers to enjoy cake and prizes.

As this anniversary approaches, our management and owners hope to continue pleasing customers and providing the best place to play bingo in the Greater New Orleans area.
