Bridge City’s World Famous Gumbo Festival

Holy Guardian Angels Church invites you to join them the weekend of October 13th, 14th & 15th, 2017 for the Bridge City’s World Famous Gumbo Festival at Gumbo Festival Park located at 1701 Bridge City Avenue and admission is $3.00.

There will be a Gumbo Cooking Contest at noon on Saturday and the Beautiful Child Contest will be held at 10am on Sunday. Pay one Price Rides are $25.00 during the following times: Friday 6 pm-Closing, Saturday 2 pm-Closing and Sunday 12 Noon- Closing.

Bridge City’s “World Famous” Gumbo is cooked daily at the festival grounds and over 2000 gallons of both seafood and chicken/sausage gumbo will be prepared for our visitors during the festival.

A variety of other native Louisiana cooking such as jambalaya, New Orleans style red beans and rice with sausage as well as hamburgers, hot dogs, Fish and Shrimp plates, homemade cakes and candies, funnel cakes and many delicious surprises will also be available.
