Academy of Our Lady’s Rho Kappa Raise Money for Wounded Warrior Project

Academy of Our Lady’s social studies honor society, Rho Kappa, began their Quarter per Quarter initiative at the beginning of the school year to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project. Members of Rho Kappa collected a quarter from their classmates and Academy faculty members each quarter throughout the year.

On April 28th at an end of the year school assembly, Rho Kappa moderator and social studies department chair Rose Bourque along with Rho Kappa president senior Carolyn Nguyen, of Marrero, presented Army veteran and representative of the Wounded Warrior Project Dave Krasner with a check worth $500.
