Inaugural Pink Dress Golf Classic

The Inaugural Pink Dress Golf Classic benefiting Susan G. Komen New Orleans will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016, at Timberlane Country Club with a shotgun start at 12 noon. 100% of the net proceeds will benefit Susan G. Komen New Orleans. All golfers should wear a pink dress, skirt, skort or kilt to participate in the event which is open to any member of the golfing community.

The mission of The Pink Dress Golf Classic, and its partnership with Komen New Orleans, is to help in the fight against breast cancer in the Greater New Orleans area. Komen funds direct-service programs that support women and men by educating them about breast cancer risk factors, the importance of early detection and the resources available to them.  Komen New Orleans grants serve thousands of local women by providing low-cost/free screening mammograms, diagnostic testing and breast cancer treatment to uninsured or underinsured residents within their 8 parish service area.  Seventy-five percent of the net funds raised by Komen New Orleans goes to vital local breast health services, and the remaining twenty-five percent is funded to Komen national specifically for research grants to find the cures.

The cost to participate in the Pink Dress Classic is $125 per player, which includes admission to the after party from 5-8 p.m. with a cash bar, food, and music by Soul Express.  Think PINK sponsorships are available at $2500 and provides for two (2) foursomes, after party tickets, banner signage and hole sponsor signs.   Beverage cart sponsorships are available at $1000 and provides for one (1) foursome, after party tickets and beverage cart signage.  Clubhouse sponsorships are $500 and provide one foursome, after party tickets and signage.  Tee Box sponsorships are $100 and provide a hole sponsor sign.   Individual tickets to the after-party are $25.   Hole-In-One prizes include a 2017 Honda Accord Sport and a $10,000 cash prize.   There will be a long drive contest as well as a prize for Closest to the Hole.
