Gretna and Lafitte Libraries Re-Open

Gretna’s brand new, post-Katrina library is now open for patrons. On March 17, the library, located at 102 Willow Drive, was dedicated and opened to the public. The facility, with more than 5,800 square feet of space, is much bigger (almost twice as large) than the one destroyed during Hurricane Katrina nearly 5 years ago.
